I'm still trying to figure out how to use Norton Ghost. I need to use it.
Lots of people gave me great advice yesterday.
I especially liked and used the Norton interactive tutorial(that "Easy" gave me), but I followed their advice(and the Norton tutorial), made a boot floppy disk...but when I leave it in my floppy drive and restart Nothing!!
My computer doesn't even seem to know it's there and boots up just like alway to my desktop without starting the Norton Ghosting program.
What can I be doing wrong? I've created 4 different boot disks and Nothing!

It sounds like the boot drive order should be changed to "A" and then "C". It's probably "C" and then "A" now. Enter setup and make that change. Post back.

When you first boot up, a message is usually displayed to press a certain key for setup. It varies with different manufacturers but some of the common keys are "del", "F1", "esc", "F10", "F2". You should see the BIOS setup if successful. Then look for boot sequence.

Dave, I've got a DELL. I went into my setup by pressing DELETE at startup.
This is what it said in the Boot area:
First Device [Hard Drive] Second Device [Removable Devices] Third Device [ATAPI CD-ROM Driv] Fourth Device [Network Boot]
you were right about the 1st booting to my C drive, but I don't see a choice for my A drive to change the order.(Is A a "Removable Drive"? I didn't think so)
what do I do?

Change so "removable device" is the first boot drive. Ideally, the floppy should be first, CD ROM second and hard drive last. This would enable you to boot up with a CD. You're almost there!

Dave, are you sure that "removable devices" means my floppy drive in my computer?

Computer manufacturers call the floppy drive "removable", or FDD, or "A". Changing the boot sequence has no effect if no disc is in the drive. The BIOS searches for the first bootable drive. With no disc in either the floppy drive or CD drive, the first bootable drive will be the hard drive.
