I have a 400 mhz celeron, 16 mg Asus TNT video card, 8.4 gb hard drive, 128 SDRAM and everytime I try to run something in windows based ms-dos I get an blue error screen that says "Create error CRTC" and I have to reboot...plz help

This error is caused by improper installation of ASUS V3400 video driver. This normally happens after upgrading the Asus driver. All you have to do is to select safe mode when booting to Windows(Press F8 when "starting win98" message appears). Go to control panel > System > Device Manager> and click on the Display drivers. Remove all the previously installed drivers. Change your display settings to Standard VGA with 16 colors, reboot and re-install the ASUS driver.
