While viewing the mentioned text and while holding down the Ctrl key turn your scroll wheel one notch up or down, try another notch.
Any difference?
Doing above adjusts your text size in relation to your set screen resolution.
You can set it the normal way by going to IE View, Text size. Mine is set at medium with a resolution of 800x600 and it is not as you noted.
When checking your resolution setting (right click on desktop, select Properties, Settings) is the Color showing as only 2 or 16 colors available colors or is it set at 256 or higher? If only 2 and 16 colors are available choices then you need to update your video adapter driver or reinstall it.
Do post back.

I never heard about this trick. However it worked for me. Resently I received an E-mail where the txt partially was too small. Having read this posting, I held down the Ctrl key and turned the scroll wheel one notch. Wow! I'll remember that one!

Bryco, it didn't affect anything else but the text in the mail. I didn't set it back before I closed it the first time. Now, when I opened the same mail, the text was exactly the same as after I had adjusted it!
