Can anyone tell me where e-mails in outlook express are saved on the hard disk as I want to copy mine to a new hard disk. Thanks.

The OE files in OE5 and above are '*.DBX'. Prior to OE5 they were '*.MBX'. You can do a 'Find' to locate them. You could also use the 'export' function of OE to save them (File/Export).

Yes, if you set up your new drive with IE/OE it will obviously have empty OE boxes, such as Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items etc with .dbx exensions.
Provided you have not already used these boxes for new emails which are important, you can simply copy the original saved .dbx files (OE5) across but these will overwrite the initial empty ones. They should be larger and the old emails in each box will arrive back automatically in OE.
There are also MS export/import facilities provided to do this (I just happen to have always used the .dbx files themselves).
