Where can I get a copy of Mapi32.dll [found in Windows\System] that applies to Win98,1st edition? This is to correct an error that prevents outlook from opening [my Outlook is from Office 97 Pro. ed.]Here is my Email if you want to send it me: roarkh1@hotmail.com--if that can even be done--?

The MSKNB instr's below fit my case exactly,& were difficult to track down.
I found that my system didn't have any incorrect extra mapi32.dll files as explained in the 1st part.

The 2nd part then directs you to reinstall the Mapi32.dll--But I don't have the Office 97 disk.
-----
I have 3 possibly relevant files:
Mapi32.dll is 569K
mapi32x.dll is 709K
mapistub.dll is 128K

I have tried renaming them but this did not solve the problem.

Thanks!I think I see what you're getting at,John: extract a new Mapi32.dll from my Win98 CD-- & I will try it.But the MSKNB says to extract Mapi32.dll from the "Outlook media" & I don't have the Office 97 disk;so I don't know if it will work.
