Need help for this strange problem!!!!!! Have a dual boot 98SE/XpPro and can copy video files fine from XP Pro to the USB Hard drive; however, trying to copy video files (they are legal all my WinTV PCI card recordings) from 98SE to the USB Maxtor hard drive it freezes on about 3/4 of the video being copied. ****It copies fine in XP Pro. I know I can see the files in 98SE while in XpPro, however, want my files to be copied directly from 98SE to USB hard drive w/o a problem. I am, however baffled at what is causing this. Nothing is wrong with the hard drive and other files transfer fine from 98SE to the hard drive. ****What could have all of a sudden made my small about 650 mb video files taped in Win TV suddenly not want to transfer to my storage USB drive via 98SE but perfectly in XPPro. I use a dual boot as most of my devices are old and only work in 98SE. Any suggestions are most appreciatively welcomed.
