...lol...sure u can do it, but u'll need hours to finish it and if 1 Disk will be corrupt u'll probably have to do it again.

Use Winzip, it's most common, and pack the CD to 1.44MB files on HD. Then start copying it to floppy.

Thanks a lot!! I have a dead CD-ROM on an old machine, but the floppy drive works. I want to install WIN95 on it from my WIN95 Upgrade CD. A very low cost upgrade way of doing things, but I have more time & floppies than $$$. Lot of people worry about corrupt disks, but they all depend on a WIN floppy boot to save them ;-)

I'll go do some reading on Winzip. I also wonder if the WIN95 CD is already compressed and if that makes a difference in the need to winzip?

I wish I could find an upload site for WIN95, and I could do it directly to the floppy disks using my new puter & WIN98 system. I also understand WIN95 had a floppy install for awhile. Bet those disks are rare. Thanks a lot!

If u can access DOS on the old one, if u have a serial interface cable and some linking prog like an old Norton Commander for DOS u could send the neede Windows files via this cable and run the Ssetup from HD. It's not that fast too, but lot more than copying disk by disk. Besides that u'll have not much work w/ it.
