Cool Web Search debacle

I've used the latest versions of CWShredder, Spybot, Ad-Aware and made registry edits to remove hidden triggers... all to no avail. The CWShredder program continues to find and remove 'MadFinder' from many computers on our network.
Any assistance in permanently eliminating this element of the Cool Web Search trojan, virus or spyware program would be greatly appreciated.

I had a lot of trouble with Cool Web and finally got rid of it with the help of someone on the forum on http://www.spywareinfo.com
I would advise getting HijackThis and posting the log file to the spywareinfo forum.

just to add: newest version of CWShredder 1.35.0 also, although not related to post, If I perform a SCAN ONLY it looks as though I am infected, however if I scan and clean I am totally clean. Not sure if this is a bug, but it confused me!

Just a thought! I wonder if you will have to take all systems off the LAN network, Clean them all up before reconnecting any of them. Maybe the infected systems are reinfecting the others.
