hello and a Merry Christmas to all at c.n,
recently, I could not get on the message board, as the computer kept telling me to register, even after I registered for the 100th time, I still could not post a message.
I had just bought window washer, which freed up 350mb of space on my computer. This gave me a reason to erase all the clutter deposited on my machine. The drawback, the c.n cookie was also zapped and made me a stranger to the website computer. So, a word of caution, do not delete the c.n cookie, or else you will be on a merry-go-round to ask a question or reply to a question.

I hope this helps those who have had problems getting involved in this forum,
charlie

Sounds like you Registered and then tried to post without Logging on. You have to do both.

Charlie-What I did is clean out all your cookies then go to all your registered sites and then use File\Import and Export to send you favored cookies to where ever you want to keep them. Then you can clean your cookies out and all you have to do is Import them back.

This sounds a little involved but is better than having to log on to each site with a ID and Password each time.

Thanks Deke,
appreciate your information and help,
on Normande's point on not logging on, I have been posting for 10 months without any problems, I couldn't believe how much junk is dropped on my hd until window washer zapped and freed up a ton of space on my drive. When I tried to register, the computer told me that my name charlie was already being used, now with the cookies still there, no problems,
charlie
