I have two hard drives.the primary is 8gig and the slave is about 20gig.I had to clean install win98 from w2k as a friend wants to play games "The Sims" but it isn't compatible with w2k.The second HD is not been picked up,except in the bios and under fdisk it is non-dos.so i believe it is ntfs.ihave tried to convert it to fat32 with PM7.but it won't.There was GoBack software installed and i have read that it can mess up the MBR. Oh,I really don't won't to reformat the slave drive. Please any ideas

hello try fdisk /mbr to clear out master boot record. do a google search for delpart and add it to your bootdisk. and delete the nfts partion than use fdisk to make a new one than format. baring this working. goto hard drive makers websight and d/l low level format tool and run it. than fdisk and format.

goBack, when enabled, causes the partition to be non-DOS. Boot to the drive and you will see a message to press the space bar.
Press it, and choose to disable goBack.
Or, when you see the message, press Ctrl+Alt+G to unhook it.
