Does anyone know how to convert data in a row to a column in Excel 97 without having to copy each cell?

Try highlighting the row you need to copy, right click|copy, then go to the top of the column where you want the info to go (you might have to create a new column)Then right click|Paste Special|transpose.

That (should) do it
