Hi,

If you shut down your computer into DOS mode, then at the C:\Windows\> prompt type the following:

scanreg /restore

Then hit enter.

a screen will come up with a list of dates and times.

use the arrow keys on your keyboard to choose a date & time when your computer was last functioning correctly.

Your computer will now be re-started and will load it's last known good configuration.

You will probably need to re-uninstall your programs again, and hopefully this time you'll have more luck.

Tip:

Uninstall one program at a time and re-start after each one.

This way, you'll be able to eliminate which one is causing your initial problem.

Hope this helps

Regards

Simon
