I have a fujitsu 800mhz notebook. It has a rage adaptec pci video card, and an s-vhs port at the back. my problem is that I have connected it to my tv with an s-vhs to scartlead , and I can't get a picture on my tv.
I have been into control panel and advanced monitor setup, and it just doesn't seem to register that I have a tv connected.
I know there is a signal getting through because every so often interference occurs on the tv for less than a second.
Did you change to the input channel on your tv? What I mean, is that on my tv, it has side input, cable-a,cable-b,dvd input, and composite input. If your s-video calbe is over 6 foot long, try a shorter cable. switch to composite if you can. You should have an option in advanced properties for display to tell it to go to tv-out. If not, you might not have the correct drivers installed.
