Hi! How can I connect 2 PC together??
How can I make it works? I know I have to use networks cards but how to make all the system works!!??

If you have the NICs already installed then you need a Cat 5 crossover cable. If you plan on sharing an internet connection, you might do well with a router, too, though you can get by without one if one machine is running XP.
You'd need to set up a network on both machines. There is a tutorial in the howtos section in the frame on the
USB data cable...I just bought one for $20.00 US. It came with software and was pretty easy to use.

Hey that didn't work!
It should say:

*&^%$!!!!
It's not doing it right! Let's try 1 more time.
the last paragraph SHOULD read:
If you are only interested in moving or sharing files, get a USB data cable...I just bought one for $20.00 US. It came with software and was pretty easy to use.
Sorry for the multiple tries. My fault.

This question has been answered about a thousand times here. For starters, I assume you have Winoz95 or 98 installed? If so, then one way you can do this is buy a "laplink/ Pcanywhere/direct connect cable" for either your serial port or parallel port, and use the "direct connection" software provided with Widoz 9 series.
As above you can use network cards, you can buy a "kit" with 2 or more cards and a hub, or just buy 2 cards, and as above buy a "crossover cable." This lets you hook 2 only computers together without using a "hub."
Now, go look through some of the old posts here labled "networking" and so on, and also go to google and search for "crossover cable", "Helmig" and look up "www.wown" for networking help.
These questions, and many others. . . . . . . . . . . .

I was going to “Report Offensive Follow Up For Removal” because the language DaveM used above offended me ….
No DaveM, I’m just trying to bust your b*lls!

OK OK, see why I stick on the tech side and not programming??! Do you wonder why I could never get a program to work?
Now, I'm trying to add a little flash to this site with itlaics. Not as fancy as Terri with her multitude of colors, but, hey I have fonts to play with.
Now, "name" let's be a little nicer. Have you ever posted without searching the previous posts?

Minimum kit required: a NIC in each PC; a cat-5 utp cross-over cable between them (no hub required for a 2 PC system); install required software items (Client for M$ Networks; a protocol - NetBeui or tcp/ip; enable file/printer sharing); set up shares on each system. Job done?

http://www.practicallynetworked.com
are both excellent tutorials/how to do it all sites; both sites cover standard LAN and DCC; also various approaches to sharing an ISP connection. Suggest you have a good read - it's all there with good graphics etc...

Incase you have to rig one up...
Use an 8 wire 8 pin category 5 cable. If you dont have one of these already skip the steps below and just buy a crossover cable.Crossover cable= outside pairs are flipped at one end. Green for brown if using A configuration cable. Orange for brown if using B configuration cable. A config cables and B config cables will function the same. I have no idea why they have two standards when for all practicle purposes the two cables are both straight thru.
A config=brown and green are outside pairs
B config-brown and orangeUse a razor knife to barely pierce the cables jacket until the wires are exposed. seperate the pairs that need to be swapped.
Cut them then splice them to the other pair.brown--> to orange
brown white--> to orangewhite

Ok, Ok, if all he wants to do is connect 2 pc's here's the best place to learn:
