I have a Compaq Persario 5000 and trying to put in a pci 3d graphics card but just can't get it to work. In Device Manager it tells me it can't find free Memory Range resources to use (code12).
Then I click on the Set Configurations Manully button but it will not let me change the settings and it shows that I have a conflicting device list box it says"system board extention ACPI Bios, what should I do?

I recomend you to go to safe mode and remove devices in conflict with a yellow question mark, also, remove the graphics card, plug in the new one, and restart your system on regular mode. It should see the new device automaticly with no conflicts, make sure CMOS is set up properly.
