"Compatibility-mode paging reduces overall system performance. Drive C is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system."Guys, Is there anything wrong?? Experts, Please Help me thanks.

start
run
type "msconfig" and press enterclick on the TAB that says Config.sys
count down from the top... 4 boxes
That is the problem...Un-Check the box...
select apply
select ok...
System will now reboot...Have a nice day today...

Do you still have access to your CDROM in Windows ?
In Device Manager, is there a listing for CDROM ?
Are there any yellow ! next to Hard Disk Controllers ?If any of the above are relevant, you may need to edit a setting in your Registry, or you may have a boot sector virus.

In the device manager, there is a listing for my ASUS 50x CDROM. However, there's one ? ! under other devices which has an error 'PCI Mass Storage Controller' which has no driver for that. Any advise guys?
By the ways, thanks for all the replies and helps. really appreciate.

Install the chipset update for your motherboard. You should be able to download it from the motherboard manufacturer's site.
If any of your IDE devices are connected to a card rather than the motherboard connections you may need to reinstall the drivers for the card.
Most likely it's either the line in config.sys or the chipset or card drivers I mentioned above that is causing the msdos compatibility mode. It would help if you could post back the contents of config.sys.
