conexant soft k56 data fax pci modem

the above modem was installed and working in my friends computer it as now stopped working could you please advise me we I can obtain the floppy disk so we can reinstall the modem the orginal disk as been lost thankyou Ron hilditch

What you need to know is that Conexant(formerly Rockwell) does not manufacture modems for the consumer market, but instead makes only the chipsets. So what you'll have to do is go to the site of the manfacturer that made the PC (ie. Sony, Acer, Fujitsu etc) and dload the drivers from there. If you're still puzzled, go to www.56k.com --you should find it helpful.

i hve one of those modems. win me wouldnt recognize it but i still have my 98 stuff on partioned drive so i saved it all on disk. you need it i got it. email me where to send it.
