If it is acting like it is dead, I suspect that it is, as some of the previous responses suggested. Motherboards, being made up of a zillion transistors and other electronic parts, do die.

If you don't get a beep that means the CPU is not running and the system is completely dead. To make sure that it's a motherboard or CPU problem, disconnect all the drives and pull all the cards. If you still don't get a beep then it's either the MB, CPU or power supply. Bad RAM will normally cause beeps.

I will try your advice Bert. I have a sneaking suspicion that the AGP port is malfunctioning. I suppose I have no real proof its not the CPU. I just assumed it wasn't. Something to try I suppose.

I removed everything from my computer, including RAM, Expansion Cards, Harddrives, etc. No beepcodes. I assume the CPU is burned out. I am going to enact the 3 year warranty and claim Intel liability. I'll keep you posted.
