Compaq Presario 5030 Quick restore

I'm attempting to restore my computer using the Compaq Quickrestore disk that came with it. Unfortunately, after I choose Full Restore and reboot the computer, and after the Compaq screen comes up, a black screen with a blinking white cursor in the upper left hand screen will appear, and will freeze. How do I get past this?

It seems that the BIOS is not configured properly. Is it the original hard drive?, Compaq Quik Restore CDs assumed that the Hard disk was original, and set the BIOS that way, and partitioned it the original way. At the binking cursur thr fressing F10, DEL, or F1, to get in to CMOS. (Is it really a pentium 2, thw win98 Presarios usually had K6-2s)

Thats not true. Ive seen both. I have a Compaq Presario 5151 Amd k6-2 350 Mhz. I also have a 5150 P 2 333 Mhz.
