I have this old machine on which I run W98.
I have 4 Gb of disk space but only 20 Mb of working ram ie. 2 slots 8 Mb Sims plus 4 Mb of processor ram. The pocessor is an upgrade from Hypertec called HyperRace586 ie. AMD 5X86 running at 133MHz.
Computer's System Rom is 486 C1 08/25/93
Question: Can I place 2 16 Mb sims in the 2 slots available on the board to give me 36 Mb of working ram?
Thans for helping

It deppends on if your bios will support 16mb simms. Make sure they are non-parity (assuming that is what you got)and insert them into the slot. Be sure to keep your self grounded. If it works and your system supports it it should boot fine. If it does not it will beep and there will be no display. That is normaly so dont let the beeping scare you.
