Hi, my friend has a compaq presario 1210 notebook computer... it's a p-150 with 64m. ram, and a 1.4 gig HD. it was working fine, and then randomly began crashing (ALOT). i formatted the harddisk thinking it was a software problem, but the first time windows booted after the re-install, it did the same thing. i've tried win95, (both revisions) and win98, and all of them do the same things. one thing i get (which i can see in safe mode--which doesn't crash as much) is that every device in the control panel device manager is listed as many as 6 times.
i'm now also getting a VFAT error which is preventing the computer from booting, and scandisk isn't finding any problems. i know this sounds like a lot, but is there anyone who has any insight?
thanks,

does it include a CD that contains everything
for the notebook ??? if so ... all what you
have to do it just to insert it and let it
format everything itself and reinstall the
proper drivers ...AM7+
