Compaq Armada 1130 password lost

power on and win95 password lost I was recently given a older laptop that I would like to use but I can't get passed the power on password window or the win95 password window without the keyboard locking up even an external mouse or keybord fails to work. I did remove the cmos battery and managed to boot up with the ROMpaq floppy for flashing the bios. I got the ROMpaq welcome screen where it says OK=ENTER but the keyboard is locked. Thanks in advance for any help. Peter

Press the F10 key when you power it on to get into cmos setup change power on password from there. If you can't get into setup post back and let me know.

Laptops often have a BIOS password that only an accredited technician can change.
