Are you using win 98 or second edition get back to me on this because if your using second edition it may be the patch thing causing it not to reboot you will have to download it from microsoft if you have win98se

Yes it is second edition windows 98 when I am using a program the computer freezes up then I try to reboot with controll alt delete but only get a black screen
