What is the model of your MOBO? I’ll try to look up a schematic but the MOBO bat usually is about the size of a quarter and usually is very obvious.

It is a silver disc about the size of a quarter. Most motherboards use a CR2032 3.6V cell for this purpose. Double check the type before you get a new one. You can usually read it if you open the system unit case.
