Clock Keeps Changing On Its Own!!

Can anyone help,my clock at the bottom right of my screen on the desktop keeps going mad.Usually if im on the PC and the clock changes from one hour to the next it will go back to the previous hour eg: 7:58 7:59 7:00.I just cant work it out.Cheers.

Are you on the internet because if you are you could be taking the time from another server which could be in a different country etc?

I agree with the above post. Make sure
that you are not using time
synchronization software which is picking
up the time from a different zone. Also,
make sure that the battery is good on your
BIOS. IF the computer is three months
old, take it back to the place you got it and
have them look at it, as it should still be
under warranty.

Its not that its losing like actual time like minutes,its just that sometimes when it changes over the hour it goes back to the previous hour,but the minutes stay thee right time

Take it back...
As near as I can figure, you have a corrupted Registry in the area of Windows determining what time zone you're in.
It's probably flip-flopping back and forth.
Windows 98SE OEM can be a real beyotch at imes.
