Pop-up's (or perhaps pop-unders) can cause them, or perhaps redirects to other locations. Spyware may be causing the redirects; visit the security forum for advice. If it's pop-ups/unders, switch to Firefox and disable them.

I don't think so as I hear clicks to when I'm on the net and I hear clicks also and I have a good spyware program on my machine. I get this on my Windows 98 and Windows ME machine. It's something else. I hear the clicks whenever I go from site to site.
