i lost all my drivers and install disks that came with the computer. however i'm planning on a clean install of win2k or xp from win98.
i need to know if this is possible and what i should do step by step. like, what i should make sure to do. i already started to download the 4 in 1 VIA chipset, and the graphics driver for Geforce2 MX, but what else should i do? flash my bios?

just boot with the 2k or xp disk. either os will give you a report as to what drivers you need. xp has most all drivers available for anything.

Summary: XP has a great deal more success running older apps and DOS-based software than WinMe or Win2K does. XP features a compatibility mode section that allows you to choose the system to imitate when runn...
