This problem seemed to start happening at random. I just switched fans on my CPU, as my old one wasn't keeping the processor cool enough. I tried starting up the computer, it made all the normal noises and such, but my monitor gives me the message "Check Signal Cable." I've checked all the connections and everything is fine. Any idea what could be causing the problem?

The cable from the monitor to the video card is loose.
The video card is defective or not making good contact.

I assumed when you said that 'it made all the normal noises' that you got the POST beep. If you are not getting that, then you might very well have a motherboard problem. If you ARE getting the POST beep then it's probably either the video card or cable.

Hm... so yer saying my CPU probably got fried when my processor temp hit 200�F. =\

I would sure try another CPU if you have access to one.
