changing default setting of "Always use this program" check box

Comment:
When opening a file in Win9X that does not have an association, the "Open With" dialogue box appears with a list of applications that can be used to open a file. Below that is a check box with the message "Always use this program to open this (type of) file". By default, this box is always checked. How do I change the default setting so that this box is unchecked by default?

UNCHECK OPEN WITH
This useful Registry hack is brought to you thanks to Debash (debash@msn.com):
"This tweak permanently unchecks the "Always use this program to open this file type" checkbox on the "Open With" dialog box, when opening a non-associated file type. Run Regedit and go to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Unknown\shell\openas\command
Add %2 to the current "Default" value as shown here:
Close Regedit and press F5 to refresh the Desktop."

G'day Jon, you can also just remove the %1 without adding the %2 as well, back up key first!!

Thanks to Dave (who responded directly via e-mail) and Greg, who both referred me to the "http://members.aol.com/axcel216/" site for the fix involving adding %2 to the registry entry.
Also, thanks to Ronnie for the tip on removing the %1 from the registry entry.
For the record, I tried both solutions, and they both work great.
