ok one day out of no where .tmp files appear on my desktop... i thought it was image file from internet so i delete it... and than from than on whenever i try to install some programs it'll say either "internal error" such as DoD or when i install CS or other stuff it'll say something like this : cannot install, because C:\~glc1034.tmp is being used by another thing... so i'm guess i accidenly deleted glc1034.tmp but if i did why would it say its being used? plz help this is pissing me off cause i can't install CS now... and a butt lot of other need-to-install programs.

It looks like some virus or trojan has renamed a vital file to ~glc1034.tmp. Run an up-to-date virus scan.

"This error occurs due to a conflict with something else loading on the system"

From this it may seem of a virus... well i don't have any anti-virus software... can anybody point out to me a VERY good anti-virus software?

Before you get any antivirus, make sure it is a virus by scanning for free online at http://www.ravantivirus.com/. Post the log here after doing that. If you have a virus, you might want to look around on the internet to see if theres any instructions on how to get rid of it manually. If you can't find out how post it in another thread on these forums. If you STILL can't find out how I'd get Norton Antivirus 2003 because McAfee has bad uninstalls and has always done more harm than good on my system. Hope you get things sorted out.
