CD-Rom directory

Could someone please explain to me how to change my cd-rom directory as i upgraded my OS but the directory of the cd-rom remained the same

What OS did you have, and what did you upgrade to? It shouldn't have changed your drive letters. Try searching for the drive with a CD in it at a DOS prompt using DIR X: command where X is the suspect drive letter. Another thing to try is to go into device manager and remove the drive, restart, and have the OS find and reinstall it for you.

Nothing changed on the CD. The directory
remains the same.
