i have an waitec shuttle 8-4-32 cd rewriter.. my computer had a fatal error after burning 2 cd correctly.. i has to reset. after reset windows dos not detect my drivers again he just wont see my burner.. are there drivers somewhere? easycdcreator can find them... but now not anymore. can you help me?

1. Check Device Manager (in My Computer) and see if there are any yellow ! or red X around your CD-RW device. If so highlight it and remove it, then uninstall the software for it. Next, reboot your system and reinstall the CD-RW drivers and reinstall the software.
2. Download Firmware of September 23 from: http://www.waitec.com/dfdef.htm and install it.
Summary: When you changed the CMOS battery, the BIOS was rest to its factory defaults negatting changes your added hardware made in the BIOS setup. I guess that is the reason for your CD-RW not being recogniz...
Summary: I'm trying to install a cd-rw on my machine bios detects it but when in windows it doesn't see the cd at all no cd drive shows up.ANy ideas ...
