I hired Toatal Annihilation from videoshop, installed ok, when I went to play loading screen apeared then a pop-up message asked for me to insert proper cd in to drive. I have a e-ide cd-rom 52x/tku cd-rom, only new, win 98, 192 mb ram, 20.4gig hard drive. New computer........help.

I think I know what the problem is, you've probably partitioned your HD. This was also an error with HalfLife, you just need an update of the game. I hope i've helped you.
