The CD Rom is a generic no-name brand (48 speed). It only recognizes original CD's and not burned ones. Our burned CD's work in other machines. Replacing the CD Rom drive does not work either (the same problem occurs). Any Ideas? The OS is win 98 se, AMD K6 2, 450 with 128 mg ram.
What kind of bruning program you using? Some CD drives require the CD be "closed" in order to read it...I know this is the case with CD's burned with direct CD...there is also a driver from adaptec called UDF that may fix it
