Hi...need help with Roxio cd creator. Everytime i want to copy a disk it says the blank disc that i am putting in is "not a recordable disk" even tho it is. Why would it not recognise the blank disks???? I cant copy anything at all.
Thanks - any advice appreciated!

ddp5 might be right. As a an engineer I've often found products manufactured for one purpose can be admirably suitable for another.

Linda,
"The burner is Roxio Easy CD creator version 5."

This is the software. Did it come with the drive? (Hardware)

If you've tried a cd drive cleaner with no luck, it ~could~ be that the drive is too old to read the newer type media available today. (Although generally it (the media) will just default to the burners parameters.) Is it reading older recordable media? (CD's which have been burned previously.)

Have you tried uninstalling the burning software then reinstalling?

.. it's a notoriously common typo (still funny tho') and provided an excellent setup for Derek's absolutely droll comment ; )
