I burnt a couple of CDs just days ago. I went to Adobe Acrobat to make a PDF (5 MB) file which is now back in my documents and when I set it up to burn (CDR-RW) inserted, in momemnts the green lite begins flickering and a window comes up saying theres no disc installed ???

Its an add on CD burner (Nero)I installed 2 years ago and has worked well ?? Help Thanks

No change So I re installed rebooted and still nothing happening Vic

Here's some options:
Try another CD
Try uninstalling/reinstalling Nero
Try another burner program
Replace the drive.

Was it an old burner?
I had an HP external burner that worked fine for a while.
Second hand deal, only cost me $20, luckily.
Anyway, one day that's all I ever got - the message saying there was no disc inserted.
After asking various sources, including computer shops, they all said that it was old and just gave up, and that message is indicitive of that.

*shrugs*

I'm no expert, however...
