Normal CD audio doesn't work on my computer at all. I have two CD-ROM drives, one is a Plexwriter 12/10/32A CDRW drive, and the other is a Kenwood 72x CD-ROM drive. Both have grey audio cables going to my Sound Blaster Live! XGamer 5.1, but I can't hear sound from either of them in normal CD audio playing, such as in Real Jukebox, Winamp, or the CD Player included with Windows, which is Windows 98 SE by the way. Winamp shows the waves of the sound of the music, but I don't hear anything. And no, I'm not so stupid as to have sound turned all the way down or muted in Volume properties... ;) If I use the feature with Windows Media Player that reads the audio as data, though, then I can hear audio off both drives. Anyone know what my problem could be, and perhaps offer a solution?

are you using windows new media player?
That could be the problem. Check the file association, and the sb drivers.
Boot in safe mode and make sure their is only one.

How can you plug both into the sound card?

The cables must be blue and not grey!
STUPID!
You need 2 sound cards!
And you need memory upgrade and the last BIOS release!
