While in Windows with the screen displayed, press the ALT+PrintScrn keys. This will copy the displayed screen to the clipboard. Open your graphics program (Paint or whatever) and paste it in there. You can save the result as a bitmap, JPG or whatever. Then you can print it or e-mail it or put it on the web (if you have a site to store it at).

If you push the <Print Scrn> button it will copy the screen shot to the computers clipboard. Then you can go into Paint and Paste the screenshot. That is the easiest I have found. If you do <Alt><Print Scrn> it will grab only the current box and not the whole screen.

There are also many free screen capture programs on the web (with neat facilities to capture specific areas).

I tested several and found that MWSnap was one of the few that didn't produce problems or wrong colours in certain programs.
