sometimes when i arrive at a web page i have a little icon a white square with the right hand corner turned down with a small blue "i" in it and next to it it says that "the web page cannot viewed" this is quite common and can only take up part of the entire web page..as in a frame.. also there are some pictures that will not open..

Open Internet Explorer. Click TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - ADVANCED. Scroll down to MULTIMEDIA and make sure the necessary items are checked. Click APPLY - OK. Close Internet Explorer, then reopen it.
You might also consider upgrading to Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2.
