Can't upgrade Win95 to Win 98 SE

I am having problems upgrading a working PC that has Win 95 with Win 98 SE. I keep getting an error message that states “You interrupted setup while it was coping Windows files from a setup (.cab) file….” Any help that you could offer, or other websites that might help, would be greatly appreciated.

Swapping out the cd rom usually works when that happens to me. You might also make sure the cd disk is clean.

be sure to disable any virus software too. you might try installing it from true dos, that way you can be sure nothing will interupt it.
