cant stream videos on wmp

hello, iv been having this problem for a few days now. It first happend when i tried streaming the radio from www.1049xfm.com, it opend in Windows Media Player 9 series, and it just stayed at "ready". I pressed play a few times, but nothing. So today i go on www.gamespot.com and try and stream a few video's, SAME THING HAPPENS!! urggghhh...

i can download movies and music videos and watch them on windows media 9, but not stream them, it stay's at "READY" but never works.

PLEASE HELP, ( iv reinstalled the player, and i have the correct codecs becuase i could watch them before )

I don't know all your system specs but from what is posted I would say that your computer is too slow.

Bit of a long shot but have you done your "housekeeping" recently (clearing TIF's, scandisk, defrag and so on)?
