How can I stop a program form loading itself. I have deleted every file I can find associated with this program? It loads everytime I boot. Can't find where it is hidden on my computer.

Heatmark,
check your email I sent you Regcleaner it is good program to get rid of programs like that, I use it all the time to troubleshoot software problems.
Let me know how it goes.

Depending on windows version you can go to start, run and type msconfig and then hit enter. If you go to the last tab it will show all the programs running on startup. Delete the program that ia autostarting from there and this should resolve your problem.
Also there is a freeware program i use for this that also cleans your registry called jv power tools. link is www.jv16.orgThere is also a method for stopping it through editing the registry but personally i would recommend one of the above solutions.
Much less chance of causing problems.Hope this helps.

Hi Heatmark, manny, tonysci, dave, hi all,
Heatmark... if 3 responses above don't solve your issue, here is a web page on the subject -> Programs at Startup, it reads oodles of ways to start a program at Windows Statup or, in other words, the locations you will -I hope- find the malware!
Enjoy your day,
Gérard from Paris, France
