i have win98se, just got xp, stated the install, canelled it (i decided i want to put it on my other hd)
when i cancelled and then everytime i start the pc, i got the screen boot win xp or boot windows, i choose the win98 one
i wanted to completley erase anything xp did so i wouldnt get that screen. i deleted all the files in c(not the folders.)
i restarted and got the message missing NTLDR, push any key to restart. i turned it off, installed win98 (not se) on my second hard drive, sent all the files from c: to d:(d is my win98 drive thats screwed up)
i set my d back to master (now c:) and pushed the power button, i still get the message.
is this ntldr a file from win98, win98se, or winxp.
i dont want to erase everything on my drive that has se, i just want to add the file to where it needs to be.
can somebody please tell me how to fix this?
