can't run a movie in media player

its not a codec problem, the movie seem to work only that i see a black screen, the time is running, the movie file properties indicate a movie file with a resolution and fps and everything...

i tried openning the file with "the playa" from Divx and it wrote the next error:
The location you selected could not be opened"
so it can't be a black screen movie...

if anyone knows this error please replay.

Subject: can't run a movie in media player.

Look in the options under format and select all formats. If this don't work reinstall at least ver 7 of windows media player. Mine works like a charm.
