the ablity to right click in the programs section of my start menu is gone i use win 95 and i have seen this feature on other win 95 running comps. any registry entries to fix this would be appreciated. i am also missing the Quick Launch option from the taskbar's right click menu.

You need the Desktop Update that was available with the IE4 upgrade. It adds all the "web-like" enhancements to Windows as well as the features you are after.
