Can't remove error message

An error message keeps popping up on my screen that says, can't prepare plug-in. I can't seem to remove the message, and it's annoying! Any advice?

Click Start / Run and type MSCONFIG in the box. Click the startup tab and see if you see anything there realated to installation and uncheck it. Also run a program called Ad Aware and Spybot S&d and get rid of the Spywrare.
