Hello, I can't print in Outlook Express but I can print in everything else. Everytime I try to print, nothing happens and there is no error mesage. I've tried reinstalling it with no luck and microsoft's knowledge base doesn't seem to have any answers for Win98, only NT 4.0... Please help!

Howdy, Well how are you trying to print? I normaly just right click on the file and choose print. Is this what you are doing? Have you ever been able to print from OLE? If so when did this start to happen?

Laters,

Kevin The Tech Dude.

Have the same problem and the only answer I've seen so far is on the MS users group. If you've recently downloaded IE5 but are still running Outlook Express 4, you lose the print function until you upgrade to OE5. Frankly I haven't done this yet because i didn't want the hassle, so if I need to print e-mail I just cut and paste it into wordpad and print from there

oh dear - well I have exactly the same issue. I have installed the printer software (an HP695c deskjet) but no results.
There is no error message, nothing. Hit the print icon or choose print from the file menu results in ....... nothing. no error, no attempt to do anything. Anyone??

same thing here. i'm using ie5.5 and outlook express 5.5 on NT4.
both won't print, IE5.5 even shows empty pages in the print preview.
everything else prints fine, except these two. i spent a whole afternoon trying to find an answer on the web, but so far unsuccessful.
any ideas other than the really annoying cut-and-paste technique?

Success!
Removed outlook express and IE
upgraded to 5.5 - no more problems. That doesn't help the person who has already done the upgrade but a friend warned me that the removal of OE first was important with 5.5 because it might not actually do the outlook express upgrade if it was still there

Martin,

I have same problem, ie5.5 and oe5 both won't read html to print. oe5 prints text but not html.

I can't help, but you aren't alone.

Hi,
it's my problem too. I have upgraded the explorer, but I don't want to upgrade Outlook Express (for several reasons). And now the print functionality don't work!

Is there any solution to this problem??? If so, please be so kind and mail it to me.

Thank you
