can't play video files

thanks. i've tried playing with windows media player 9 but still it require some sort of license.

You may want to try this: Open Media player, click on Tool-->Options--> get the 'player' tab. Uncheck the box that says "attempt to aquire licenses automatically" Say Ok and exit media player. Open media player and try to play the file agian. Hope this helps...
