cant open facebook and other radio websites

hi, at first i could open facebook but lately when i try to do that, it opens a google page which i cannot use to search for info anyway. What might possibly be the problem. Mind you i could open it at first but now i cannot. Another strange thing is that when the connection seems to be slow, it sometimes opens but most of the time it doesnt. it is only facebook and other radio stations doing this. Please help

Let's say you are using Internet Explorer.

Go to Tools, Internet Options and delete all Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, exit IE and relaunch it.
