Can't Open any files HELP

I just installed a program called ACDSEE 4.0 photo software and now I can't open any more of my files. Everything from control panel to my word docs. It keeps telling me I need ACDSEE.exe to open the files. So now I removed the program but still I can't open a dam thing. HELP

If you have uninstalled the program and you are on W98 then it's likely that somehow it corrupted the registry. In your shoes I would shut down to DOS, type scanreg /restore and chose a registry dated just before you installed the program.
